Well, that was an interesting morning, all right. The last thing Ogma had expected to do was suddenly turn into a god. And yet, it had happened.
Explaining it to his children had been the most difficult part. But, he had pulled out the mythology books, and explained his past and his role. He showed them the twelve trees he'd planted in the back yard, and the oghams he'd created with them. He spent a lot of the day just answering questions and telling stories. Yes, the kids were understandably weirded out, but by the time dinner was over, they seemed to at least accept the idea.
He even showed off some feats of strength there in the yard after they ate. But as they were headed back in, he thought he caught a flicker of motion.
"You kids go on inside. There's something I want to check on," he said, and began to look for what he thought he saw.
