Big Girls Don't Scream in Terror.
Characters: Astarte, Poseidon, Seth, Aphrodite if she chooses to be available.
Date/Time: Spring Equinox 2012-- wee hours of Wednesday morning
Location: New York, beach area
Rating: TBD
Warnings: Language, at least. Possible implications regarding sexuality and violence.
Summary: Seth and Astarte come home late.
They touched down on the sand back in New York. Not in the park, this time, but the beach. She's about to remark to Seth about how he can tune down the wind just a bit now that they've landed, when she notices the obvious.
The very obvious.
...this just had to happen, didn't it? But hey, she's a big girl now. A grown goddess, back in full form. Always happy to talk to some fascinatingly primal person. And it's not like she was afraid of the ocean in any case. She wasn't. Honest. Not afraid at all. A few... lingering vexations wasn't the same as being afraid.

Yes, Aphrodite allowed the waves to soften at the sight of the Egyptians.
"We have company, darling," Aphrodite whispered to Poseidon.
"I see you made it back in time," she said, smiling at Seth and Astarte.

She smirked.
"Glad to see you made it back."

He smirks back. "Glad to see you," he teased.

"Godhood has quite the effect on you," she remarked.

"It is different," she admitted, "Still. You do recall who my husband was? At least you're able-bodied."

"Yes, it most certainly is," she agreed.

"That would be a good thing, yes. I was the last child of the sky god--I'm more aware than most of what real chaos can be like."
