He did want her, to make her bend but just like that of her snakes she was defiant. Not completely resilient which is what both burned him up and enticed him. She rode that line quite well. Not enough to to please him, but just enough to get under his skin.

His grip stayed tight, bruising the skin under that sexy number. He clicked his tongue again shaking his head. "You have your own vendetta. Don't think I don't see it." A pause in his breath so that she'd hang on his next move. "Keep playing, honey and you'll get burned again." He shoved her forward releasing that grip and stalking past her.
