Summary: Athena brings Baldr his present and they get to meet for the first time.

She had Sean's present in her arms as she hunted the halls. She walked by the library and noticed the door a little ajar. She pushed it open a little further and poked her head it to see if anyone was in there.

"Penises aren't particularly hydrodynamic, especially when their only use for a merman is for mating," he quipped.

"Point taken." She considered his anatomic differences for a moment, wondering just how interesting this experience was going to get. "Anything else I should know?"

"Actually... yes. It's not that I don't want this to happen, I do, but... My underwater form has anatomy closer to a male dolphin than a human, and... well, a human girl would likely suffer serious injury from a mating. I know you're strong and tough and you'll probably be able to handle the physical stress involved, however, I'm considerably larger in this form, and the ejaculate is a lot more forceful. Not to mention, underwater sex tends to wash away natural lubrication, and with all those factors combined... Once I'm in... I might not be able to pull back out until after we're finished," he admitted.

That was certainly something to think about. And she did, carefully. After a moment she met his eyes and nodded. "Okay."

He gently touched her cheek.
"You're sure? I don't want to hurt you, or make this too much of a gamble."

From his vague description and simple logic, she figured it would hurt some. But she was currently a goddess so now was the opportune time to test her physical limits. Also, if they ended up gods on a permanent basis, it'd be nice to know their options for being together. "I'm sure. You know how I hate to pass up a chance to learn something new."

"All right, then. If you're sure," he said, and kissed her soundly.

She kissed him back, her body melting against him. She intended to give herself over to the whole experience and not thinking. Not thinking would be best so she didn't get overly nervous. She would probably need to be as relaxed as she could get.

His kisses became more passionate, probing deeply, or running along her neck. His hands slid over her wet skin expertly. And, slowly, the scales along his inguinal slit began to separate, allowing the tip to peek out.

As much as she tried to just lose herself in the moment, she absolutely noticed when there was a sudden, if light (for now), press against her abdomen. And knowing what that would be made her breath hitch a little before she controlled it again. "How should we do this?"

He considered.
"Much like we usually do. I'll be as careful as I can."

She nodded, but she still had some questions. "Because of the water, is foreplay even useful on my end?"

He smirked a little.
"It's still enjoyable, isn't it?"

"Hey, I've never done this before. Don't laugh at me because I'm trying to figure out the logistics." But the admonishment falls flat because of her own smile.

"You have. Just with a human man, not a sea god in his full glory. It still works the same way," he said, "I still respond. And, I'm sure, so do you."

"Okay." She let out a breath and relaxed a little. Maybe next time, she'd just tell him to leave out the warnings, because they made her nervous. Sometimes ignorance was bliss. Then, refusing to be controlled by nerves, she slid a hand between them, trailing her fingers over the tip that was exposed.

He gasped as a little shiver went through him. It seemed he was a little bit more sensitive in this form. He did respond, though, another couple of inches extending from his pouch, eager to meet her touch.

She wrapped her hand around the growing length, noting with a little twinge of concern at the increased width of him. That was going to take adjusting to. Hopefully it wouldn't get too bad. As it was her hand couldn't close completely. This was going to be an all together different experience for certain. But nerves or no, she'd already committed, she was going to see it through. So her hand worked a gentle rhythm to coax more of his length out.

He groaned softly as he steadily extended to full length--close to twice his human size. Meanwhile, he made sure to pay attention to her, kissing her neck and fondling her breasts.

"Oh jeez..." It came out almost soundless, because even as he was distracting her with his touch, she could still feel him extending. He'd said that he was going to be larger, but....Holy cow...

"Are you all right?" he asked softly, nuzzling her ear.

"Yes," she said softly. So she was a might intimidated. She could do this ~~probably~~. She just had to get out of her own head. So she tilted her head offering up her neck to him. Because they both knew that was one of her weak spots.

He found her one special spot, sinking a gentle lovebite into the skin of her neck. One of his hands was worrying her nipple, carefully rolling the hardened nub.

That was an effective distraction. The bite drew a gasp from her, and coupled with his attention to her nipple, sent a shiver down her spine.

He wrapped his muscular tail around her, holding her close as he savored her, trying to make her as blissfully relaxed as on their first night together.
