Adonis was a little floored by Aphrodite's response. He wasn't sure how to take it. He also had questions about what she'd said about being in charge now. He could also tell by looking at Hephaestus, that he wasn't thrilled at what Adonis had to say either.

He decided it might be better to get away from what he'd said for a moment. "You're leading he Greeks?", he asked Aphrodite. "How did that come about?" He assumed it was at least, if not wholly, because he hadn't heard any mentions of Zeus or Hera being around.
