"And.. it's actually rather difficult to flunk poetry, depending on how it's being taught. And, no, it's not all boring. Epics like the Iliad or Beowulf are filled with violence, sex and gore. Even a poem I read for Lilith once, "Goblin Market," has themes of rape, kidnapping, incest, lesbianism and murder. And Shakespeare loved a dirty joke as much as anyone."
