Summary: Dio's suffering withdrawal, and Ari's hoping the Good Doctor can help...

Ariadne wondered if she should have thought better of this. Dionysus wasn't her responsibility in this lifetime, and she'd never had any intention of letting him be a liability either. Still, they'd had a connection in the long-ago past, and if no one else was going to step up when he needed someone, it might as well be her.

For that reason only had she let him come see her and stay with her, and bring him to Asclepius's home the next day. she only hoped that the doctor could help.

"Because getting into trouble is fun," he said, trying to play it off as light-hearted and failing miserably.
He coughed as another spasm of shivering passed over him. "But this time... this time, I think I fucked up bad..."

"I still do appreciate it," he said.

About this time, Asclepius returned, carrying a syringe filled with clear liquid.
"Hold still, if you will," he said, and delivered the shot into Dionysus's forearm. "That should help calm the nerves firing. Also..." He pulled a slip of paper from his pocket. "I'm prescribing you a mild antidepressant. It should bring your serotonin and dopamine levels better into line and reduce the power of the cravings."
