Summary: Dionysus is visiting Dite to catch up on their daughter and maybe each other.

Little Ivy was anxiously watching. Watching the windows and the clocks. Staring at the intercom, as if willing it to sound. Aphrodite merely chuckled in amusement. Ivy hadn't seen her father in such a long time.

At long last, they got the awaited arrival. Aphrodite smiled as she opened the door.
"Ah, Dionysus. So glad you were able to make it."

From behind her came a delighted shriek.
"Daddy!" Ivy immediately rushed the door to wrap her arms around Dionysus in an exuberant hug.

"Merlot all right?" she asked, moving toward the kitchen.

Ivy determinedly clung to Dionysus.

"Though, you know our Triton. He plays by a far more rigid set of rules and honor. He insists on being married before fathering any children this time around," Aphrodite continued as she poured the glass.

"Perfectly all right," he smiled. "And I'm sure you've been saving up a particularly fine vintage for a special occasion?" he added, his arm around Ivy as she clung to him.

"Yeah, that sounds like Triton, old-fashioned as ever," he chuckled. "You don't need marriage to have great kids, right?" His smile was the smile of a proud father as he looked at Ivy.

"You never know when you might need to break one out," she laughed as she presented him with a filled glass.

"And indeed, no, as the twins have proven. Both Ivy and Anthony are growing up beautifully, if I do say so myself."
