Tess wouldn't admit it, but she was really nervous. Sure she'd had plenty of first dates before, but this... Reuniting with a man who was once your husband centuries ago in a past life. A past life in which you were apparently gods!? Her mother would freak out if she knew. She took a few settling breaths.

She looked damn good if she said so herself. With the money offered by Erik/Odin, she was able to afford a nice, sleek beige dress. Her only complaint was it made her butt stick out a little. Her sister would joke it was assured with a mother of mixed Cuban/Brazilian ancestry. "It's in the genes, Tess, work with it." She chuckled a little at the memory. Naturally she'd have to tell Gwen about this, her sister wouldn't forgive her if she didn't.

Tess allowed herself to be lost in her musings in order to pass the time while she waited for her date to arrive.
