Characters: Corruption and Ganymede
Date/Time: Early afternoon on Friday, June 15th.
Location: Streets of NYC
Rating: TBD--depends on how it goes.
Warnings: Innocence being corrupted?
Summary: A chance encounter on a street corner... or is it?
It was a day seemingly much like always in New York. People were bustling about. Everyone working to get to where they needed to go.
He seemed to come out of nowhere in the crowd, the handsome man. He tapped Ganymede on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, hi. My name is Brian, and my kitten got out of my apartment about a block from here. You haven't seen her have you? Just a little thing. A little ball of black fluff?"

He thought for a moment, biting his bottom lip in the process and shook his head.
"No, I haven't, I'm sorry." he said, "I could help you look if you want." he smiled. Really, he wasn't busy at all today, and it was nice to help strangers, wasn't it?

"Oh, just in passing. You probably don't remember. So, been making many friends out here in the big city?"

"I've made a few." he shrugged. "Thanks to school and...everything else." he smiled a little, not knowing quite what to say next.
"Have you?"

He tucked a little of his hair behind his ear, playing ever so slightly with a delicate ringlet as he continued to speak. "Shouldn't we be looking for your kitty?" he asked, lightly, not quite making eye contact.

Just then, a small black kitten came bounding right up to Ganymede.
"Ah, there she is! There's little Lethe. Naughty kitten," 'Brian' said, smiling down as the kitten began licking the boy's fingers. "Aww, I think she likes you."

"She's very cute." he said, lifting her up into his arms, and scratched at her belly a little, murmuring barely-audible but still affectionate German as he did so.

"You know... She escaped because I've been in and out all day. Got to go somewhere, and I can't take her with me. ...what would you say to holding onto her for me?"

"Anything else I can do for you?" it was a question that came naturally to Ganymede. He'd always enjoyed being helpful, after all.

"I know there's a lot going on, and I'd hate to get hurt, too. But...some people don't really care for cute." he shrugged. "I- well, sometimes I don't feel like I have anything else really going for me." he giggled. He only half-meant it, of course.

"I've never had much of a problem with...getting guys to like me. But, she sounds a little frightening." he chuckled.

"She's a pro boxer. That's her stage name. She's a little rough around the edges, but she's not a bad person," he promised, "And I don't think Miss Lovelace would easily let someone else take you away from her son."
