Summary: A chance encounter on a street corner... or is it?

It was a day seemingly much like always in New York. People were bustling about. Everyone working to get to where they needed to go.

He seemed to come out of nowhere in the crowd, the handsome man. He tapped Ganymede on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, hi. My name is Brian, and my kitten got out of my apartment about a block from here. You haven't seen her have you? Just a little thing. A little ball of black fluff?"

The episode on the subway earlier a week or so ago had made him a little wary, and he gave a slight jump when he was tapped, but as he turned to get a better look at the man, he calmed down a little.

He thought for a moment, biting his bottom lip in the process and shook his head.

"No, I haven't, I'm sorry." he said, "I could help you look if you want." he smiled. Really, he wasn't busy at all today, and it was nice to help strangers, wasn't it?
