Summary: The two decide to get drinks while waiting for the meeting to start.

It took a little wandering, but, with Nimue arm-in-arm with him, Asclepius found the bar.

"Now, you said you'd like a mai tai, isn't that right, Miss Drake? I'm more a whiskey man, personally. Though, all things considered, since we were supposed to be having a tea together, perhaps a Long Island iced tea might be more appropos?"

"I don't know." She lifted her hand to rub her fingertips against her forehead where a headache was beginning to be centered.

"I can't feel any energies. None. Flatline. Even in a residually dead zone I would be able to feel something."

She hadn't opened her senses to them. She usually holds a block against people otherwise she'd be overwhelmed on a daily basis. She opened them now...

...then cried out in shock and pain, her hand flying to cover her eyes and part of her forehead.

"..yes. Ouch." She held her hand out to make him let her have some space. It was taking a moment to lock down her senses.

"...blinding. Both of you."

Seth was close behind Asclepius.

"This confirms it. We're not in a world at all. We're in a place where time means nothing."

"No, we're as mortal as ever. This place is a kind of temporal limbo." Aldo realizes they may not know much about that and tries to explain it differently. "We would not age here, but we're not immortal. We're as vulnerable as ever, though our..abilities may react differently. Because time means nothing, we could be here for what seems like years when in fact it's only been seconds back home. Or the opposite. Let's just hope that isn't the case."
