Winter is putting footsteps in the meadow

She found little amusement in her forced choice of clothing. However, after much diligence she'd discovered something that she felt was passable. Feathers after all were a fraction more reliable than spider webbing.

And with her ill mood she'd taken herself away from the main house and come to the gardens. It was warm and bright and the flowers were in bloom. It did nothing to improve her temperament. In fact, the air in the small, almost secluded corner she'd come to, turned decidedly cooler, and the grass beneath her bare feet began sparkling with frost. She could admit quietly to herself that she reached out to coat a vibrant red rose in crystal clear ice purely out of spite, small as the revenge might be.

"I see." She combed her fingers through his hair in a fashion that could have easily been affectionate. "What else are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking I want to make love to you," he answered frankly.

"As you wish," she replied with a soft, inviting smile.

"Let me get rid of this damn armor," Bres said, starting to undo the straps.

She rose up a little so he'd have room to move, and applied her deft hands to assist in removing the armor. "I told you, you were over burdened."

"If I had known this was going to happen I would have worn my Moroccan robes," he said, annoyed with himself. He appreciates her help.

Helping him was helping herself, so there was really no altruistic motives there. "Instead you dressed for war. Should I be insulted or flattered that you found the possibility if bedding me less likely than a sudden invasion?" She found that so amusing the laugh was in her voice.

He had to admit, he really enjoyed seeing this side of Mab. "I was feeling nostalgic!" he defended in blatant mock-anger. It doesn't take them long to remove the metal, leaving only the cloth behind.

She was in very rare spirits today, it was true. Though she did tend to get happy when she was getting what she wanted. And she had wanted him for years.

"Nostalgia is overrated."

He chuckles at that. He knows she won't be like this often, so he is determined to savor it. "Fair enough." He goes to remove his shirt, but stops. "Would you like to, my queen?"

Her smile immediately shifted into a smirk. "I would." Her hands laid flat over his stomach and pushed his shirt up slightly. Then, lowering her head, she kissed along the line of skin she'd exposed. She repeated that process again and again as she exposed more and more of him.

He moans at her kisses, his hands running gently through her hair. "Worth the wait?" he teased. Bres took a lot of pride in keeping himself physically fit.

"So far," she teased. By now she had his short nearly to his chin, so quickly finished the task of pulling it off over his head. Then she feather lightly trialed her nails down his chest. "I told you I expected you to be exceptional. I enjoy being right."

He takes a sharp intake of breath at the wonderful sensation of her nails. "Glad I could..help you feed your ego," Bres teased.

"My ego is well satisfied." She leaned over him once more, tickling is newly bared chest with her feather bodice, and gave him an excellent view of her cleavage as well. "Now there's just the rest of me."

He's tried to look at Mab's cleavage before, but this was the first time Bres had a real good look. It nearly took his breath away, and definitely aroused his interest below. Slowly, but with purpose, he moves his hands to cup her bodice-clad breasts.

His hands would find that the feathers weren't just external decorations. The bodice was indeed solely made out of peacock feathers and delicate spider's silk. No fabric separated his hands from her flesh, just the thin fan of feathers. And so it was with the rest of her gown. For all it's elaborate design, Mab was practically naked.

This fact makes physically exploring her body even better. He leans forward, kissing at the exposed cleavage.

She arched a little, effectively giving him better access.

And he begins kissing in earnest, mixing a few licks in there. His hands move to pull the bodice down, carefully.

His care keeps the bodice from falling apart, and instead it slips down like a curtain being drawn, slowly revealing more of her fair skin. The drag of the feathers across her nipples causes them to stiffen, and they're revealed in a peek-a-boo fashion between the soft blue, green, and gold.

And when they are exposed, it causes a grin to break out on his face.

"Well hello, lovelies." It doesn't take him long to bring his lips to one and begin to lavish attention.

Her head fell back, eyes closing. The pleasure was instantaneous and drew a soft moan from her lips. If she hadn't had to support her own weight, she'd have held him to her. As it was, she could only relish what he chose to give her.

As if he could somehow sense her desire, Bres suddenly, but carefully flipped them over. He then moved to kiss the other nipple while bringing a hand to the newly bare one.

Oh that was so much better. Her hands were immediately laced through his hair, caressing his scalp encouragingly, as she arched her back, pressing her breasts into his mouth and hand.
