Summary: The next generation is being born!

Asclepius wasted as little time as possible trying to herd to very-soon-to-be mothers into the elevator. He'd intended to take them to the second floor, where he knew the exam room and surgical area were, but then he noticed a new button for a fourth floor. Fourth floor? Since when had this place had a fourth floor, he wondered to himself. Almost more out of curiosity than anything else, he pressed the button for it, and, after some initial bafflement, was relieved to discover it was the perfect resource area for these births.

"All right, ladies, pick a bed you like, and I'll do a cursory examination on each of you in turn. Just to see where we all are, and make sure everyone's doing all right," he explained, "Some of you are probably going to be in this for a while, so once you've been checked over, just do whatever makes you comfortable."

Lilith was probably the least trouble of any of the mothers, seeing as she had literally nothing to worry about. She wasn't even feeling any pain. She had Ogma's hand in hers as she strolled over to a bed. She didn't even struggled to get up on it. Being a full demoness had its perks. "How are you doing, my love?"

"Doing all right. How are you two?" he asked.

"Oh we're fine. You don't need to worry. This is going to be cake," she said with a beaming smile as she rubbed her belly.

"Mind if I take a look?" the doctor asked, straightening the rubber gloves he'd put on.

Lilith smiled at Asclepius warmly. "Not at all. But Cian's not quite ready to come out. Give him a couple hours yet. He's still getting ready."

"Oh yeah. Let me warn those of you who don't know. Hauron took days," Astarte says as she finds a bed. Actually, 'those who don't know' might well include the father.

Seth is quiet from his seat near Astarte. He's aware of his failure.

Astarte isn't trying to salt old wounds. She's just even blunter than usual. Still, she manages a smile. "Our kids fight their way out, Great-of-Strength. Best way to do anything, right?"

"Yeah..just.." he pats her hand, just short of holding it. "Sorry for how much this may hurt."

"I'm sure things will be fine," Asclepius agreed and checked on vitals and dilation and all the routine examinations.

"Looks like you're at about nine centimeters. It won't be much longer."

"No, not much longer," she agreed amiably. "But I can let you know when it's time. There's six other ladies that need you far more than I do."

"Let's just see how things are progressing for the moment, shall we?" Asclepius asked kindly, and examined her.

"Things look normal so far. You're about five centimeters. Do what you can to relax and save your strength."

Melpomene was just muttering a flow of swear words when she did speak. Getting her to a bed and no longer fully mobile was probably in everyone's best interest.

Seph goe up alongside Hades and finds herself a bed, not especialy agitated.

"I'm here this time. The little kitten will be fine," Bastet promised, patting Astarte's hand.

Erato curled up on one of the beds, biting at her lower lip.
"...it's starting to hurt," she said softly, "I want Achilles here..."

Even in labor, Aphrodite was elegant. She sat patiently through her examination, and then proceeded to walk about, exploring the delivery suite.

"Oh, this is nice," she said, observing the bath area in between. "A lovely place to do a water birth. Actually, a warm bath sounds very relaxing right now."

Sif kept breathing regularly, doing her best to relax and remain calm as the contractions came and went. Her hand sought Tyr's.
"Feeling ready for this?" she asked him, with a slightly nervous smile.

Mel yanked her hand out of his and slapped him across the knuckles. "Don't you fucking coddle me! This is all your fault in the first place. Go snuggle up to Erato and calm her ass down."
