Summary: It's Christmas morning! Let the traditions begin!

Even being immortal didn't keep Sif from getting up early. She quickly whipped up a batch of pastries and then, dressed in a long white gown with a red sash, a wreath lit with candles upon her golden hair, she began to deliver them.

Every room that was occupied, starting with her own family, was soon entered by Sif, carrying a breakfast tray. She sang softly as she put them on the nightstands and wished everyone a cheerful "Merry Christmas!"

Ogma, too, had taken the time to contact his children and his family in New York, telling them about the birth of his third child--although a few details were glossed over just a bit.

He smiled cheerfully at Arthur when he came across him.
"Good morning ad Merry Christmas!"

"Happy Christmas, Alan. How's Cian?"

Ogma chuckled.
"Apparently charming all the girls," he said, "In particular, he seems to have a shine on Aphrodite's little girl."

Arthur smiles. "Success with the lady's clearly starts early."

"Apparently so," Ogma said proudly. "And there certainly are plenty of women for him to charm. All you single guys are in for some competition."

"Nervous already."

"So, you celebrating with anyone special in the group?" Ogma asked casually.

"I... I don't know, Alan. I mean, Apollo's a lot of fun, but he's got other concerns, and that's fine, that always made sense, but this thing with Hada... Been getting skittish. I've lived dozens of lives, and I can count successful relationships on one hand."

"Hada is an amazing woman. She does have experience as a queen, and she is mortalborn. All skittishness aside, how do you feel about her?"

"I like her very much... which makes me more twitchy about something going horribly wrong."

"Well, you don't know until you try it," Ogma said, "Let's assume things are likely to actually go right instead of wrong. Would you want something more serious with her? I think she'd welcome it, to be honest. After all, I'm with Lilith and Bres is with Mab... And then there's the two of you."

"...fair point."

"Have you talked to her about it at all? Told her how you feel?"

"No, I've been mostly doing the aloof git thing, to be honest."

"Well, I think you ought to. She's a kind and reasonable woman. Worst thing that can happen is that she says she isn't interested in taking things further, and things stay where they are now," he suggested, gently giving Arthur a push in Esther's direction.

"You have to go and be reasonable when I'm trying to brood." But go he does.

Esther had been hovering in the room, being present and mingling and watching the kids... But, really. Christmas wasn't her holiday to celebrate. Not that she couldn't be merry, though.

She smiled at Arthur when he approached.
"Hello, Arthur. Merry Christmas."

"Happy Christmas. Though your partying is done."

She chuckled.
"Yes, I'm afraid so. Hanukkah was over before we even got here. Although it was nice of them to keep a menorah up just for me."

"Small favors. So... how have you been lately?"

"Keeping busy. At least the whole fiscal cliff crisis has kept people's minds off the godling crisis. But, still, have to weed out the paranoia where I can. And, have to admit, I sort of like being an honorary auntie. How about you? How's the orchard business these days?" she asked.

"Yeah, he's an adorable kid. It's doing fine, those moments when we haven't been locked up here and I can check on it." Breath. "Hada, sorry if I've been a bit of an aloof git lately."

That surprised her a little.
"Oh... Don't worry about it, Adam. Life just has a habit of creeping up on you sometimes and you have to handle it first."

He nods a little. "So... Mab and Bres... everything okay on your end?"

"Ah... yes. They seem happy together. Very heartwarming. I've just been taking the time to work on... godling matters."
