Summary: It's Christmas morning! Let the traditions begin!

Even being immortal didn't keep Sif from getting up early. She quickly whipped up a batch of pastries and then, dressed in a long white gown with a red sash, a wreath lit with candles upon her golden hair, she began to deliver them.

Every room that was occupied, starting with her own family, was soon entered by Sif, carrying a breakfast tray. She sang softly as she put them on the nightstands and wished everyone a cheerful "Merry Christmas!"

Athena had managed to wake earlier than Triton and intercepted Sif in the hall. She'd thanked her for the tray and make a motion for the golden haired goddess to be quiet. She wanted to wake him up herself.

Also Triton tended to sleep... less than clothed. Not that she thought that Sif would mind (really, who would?), but Athena would rather Triton decide what women saw him naked in the morning.

She brought the tray to the bedside table and sat it down carefully, then she sat beside him on the bed. She leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. "Good morning," she whispered. "Merry Christmas."

Triton stirred and smiled a little at her.
"Merry Christmas," he murmured sleepily. He noted the smell of fresh pastry and blinked. "What's this? Breakfast?"

"Mmhmm. Don't give me too much credit. Sif made them and was delivering them around. I just intercepted her is all." She smiled. It was so rare to see him all sleepy and content. She was so glad she'd gotten up early. "My present for you is back home, so I had to improvise. And I didn't think you'd appreciate someone just barging into your room uninvited... that wasn't Melpomene.

Lilith chased little Cian down the hall. She was laughing and he was giggling and screaming. His little wings trying to flap off and on in his playful attempts to escape. His mother chased him, making pretend growls at him.

"I'm gonna get you!" She cooed at him and he squealed, toddling around a doorway. Lilith followed and found Cian standing still staring in awe at the pretty Christmas tree and all the presents. "Oh my goodness. It looks like we do get a little Christmas."

"Mommy, look! Pretty tree." Cian pointed, looking up at his mother to make sure she'd seen what he'd seen. He was rather bright for his age (well his relative age) and had a tendency to impress her with his clarity.

"Pretty box!" chirped another voice, and a pair of blue eyes peeked from around the tree.

A faint rattling could be heard as well, and the little face by the tree turned to look at something else.
"Antny! No! No shake box!" the little girl scolded.

Cian hurried over beside the little girl so he could see who she was talking to. And then all Lilith could see was his firm shake of the head and raising his hand in a "stop" motion. "You break it," he said in a gently warning tone.

Lilith just stood back for a moment, happy to let the children interact.

"Merry Christmas! Ooh, food! Thanks! Sorry, busy," Astarte said from the chair in which she was sitting, Meri on her lap, clutching her smartphone. "E-mail to my sisters -- human sisters -- finally went through. Hey, Boss, you need to tell Tyler anything, we can keep trying."

"I should probably tell him everything is all right," Seth mused. "Do you need me to hold her for a bit?"

Hades, radiating darkness, seemed at odds with the bright Christmas decorations as he entered. the room. Securely held in his arms with a little girl, who noticeably was not wearing shoes.

"Would you like to join the other children, Lilian?" he asked gently.

Lillian was wide-eyed and clutchy, but nodded.

"Okay, sweetheart." He gives his daughter a kiss on the cheek before carefully setting her down.

"FREAKING PLACE, SO DAMN TINY," came Goliath has he negotiated his way around, his footsteps echoing a bit. "I EVER SEE THE BAS..," he stops mid-curse as he sees the gathering of toddlers. "..BASKETCASE BEHIND THIS I'LL..THINK OF SOMETHING."

Esther laughed.
"Well, there are worse things to be surprised with than gifts," she said and smiled at the big man. "Nice save, by the way."

Between his earlybird wife and son, there was no way Tyr was sleeping in this morning. Still, he was used to such antics thanks to Tina, albeit not with a male toddler with a much higher intelligence. Tyr took the opportunity to email Tina, letting her know her baby brother had been born. Tina was eager to be a big sister, but voiced some concerns about being left out. Tyr assured her he loved her just as much as ever, and that wouldn't change with Carl being born. When he was done talking to Tina, so she could get started on her own Christmas, Tyr joined Sif and Carl.

"Dad! Presents!" Carl announced proudly when they got downstairs.

Dionysus came padding in to the room, barefoot and dressed in a luxurious green robe. His eyes drooped with fatigue (and were more than a little bloodshot), but the look of happiness on his face was genuine as he sipped from his mug of brandy-laced coffee.

Ogma, too, had taken the time to contact his children and his family in New York, telling them about the birth of his third child--although a few details were glossed over just a bit.

He smiled cheerfully at Arthur when he came across him.
"Good morning ad Merry Christmas!"

Melpomene, being free of physical baby obligations and having her figure back were it damn well belonged, was doing three things. She was one: giving the proverbial finger to the weather and wearing daisy duke shorts and a mid-riff tank top. Two: she was staunchly avoiding the sound of squealing off-spring in the parlor and was doing activity number three: getting steadily day drunk in the living room off of a bottle of 43. Hey, quietly drinking on a couch was a normal Christmas for her for most of her adult life. Go judge somewhere else.

Ariadne had left the parlor, heading over toward the kitchen to get something to drink, and noticed Melpomene's presence in the living room.
"Hey... There are presents in the other room. I'm sure at least one has your name on it. Want someone to bring them to you in here?" she offered... and noticed that there was another stack in that room too. "Wow. And more stuff in here. Who knew?"

So far, the things that Sean had figured out did not add up:

1) His leg was healed. Perfectly, absolutely, 100% healed because someone had healed him. He was either imagining this or had completely lost his mind...

2) He'd heard the sounds of children when he woke up... Not the babies he could have sworn were born just the night before.

This place was like Wonderland, sans the LSD and White Rabbit.

He meandered downstairs, green t-shirt, blue plaid pajama pants, and bare feet. He'd fought with himself as to whether or not he should really immerse himself in any of this mess, but morbid curiosity won out in the end. He kept his distance as he peered into the room that contained all of the holiday hubbub, and decided that coffee would be needed first. And maybe booze if he could find it...
