Summary: It's Christmas morning! Let the traditions begin!

Even being immortal didn't keep Sif from getting up early. She quickly whipped up a batch of pastries and then, dressed in a long white gown with a red sash, a wreath lit with candles upon her golden hair, she began to deliver them.

Every room that was occupied, starting with her own family, was soon entered by Sif, carrying a breakfast tray. She sang softly as she put them on the nightstands and wished everyone a cheerful "Merry Christmas!"

"It probably doesn't help, being in a place like this where time is meaningless," Asclepius mused. "But that's likely a side effect of what you've been through. I'd have to test if it's due to a physical issue I can heal, or if it's something that would require a different sort of finesse."

Pause. Sigh. "It's not physical, I promise you that," he replied darkly. "I haven't wanted to jump in front of a moving bus, so I guess that's a good thing."

"Would you like to talk about it? True, my specialization is surgery, not psychiatry, but I'm still a qualified physician. I'd be happy to do what I can," he offered.

He shook his head and grinned, though it was a humorless one. "I appreciate it. Really. But I've been talking to so many people about how I feel about what happened, I feel like a broken record. Brings up things I'd rather not remember."

"I see. In that case, perhaps a bit later in the day, I might offer you a holiday scotch?"

"I don't advocate it as a cure, by any means, but sometimes a good stiff drink does help a bit."
