Summary: Athena finally introduces Triton to her father.


Athena checked, and rechecked to make sure the house was in good order. Triton had never actually been in her home, and she wanted him to approve.

"Pete, it's not like the President's coming to dinner," her father grumped. But truthfully, after she'd explained....everything, and he'd processed it, he was even more surprised by her need to impress this boy. He'd just thought she was choosy with boys, or a late bloomer. But her being Athena, well, for this guy to matter so much was really huge. And Jackson was going to make damn sure that boy lived up to his daughter's expectations. God or no god.

"I just want to make sure the house doesn't look like a train wreck," Athena huffed.

"You've been cleaning since Tuesday, it's going to get any more spotless unless you drop a nuke on the house."

Athena smiled at her dad. He always had a way to make her laugh. She kissed his cheek quickly. "I'm going to go change."

Her father blinked. "What's wrong with what you're wearing?" But his daughter was just walking away, shaking her head in amusement at him. "Damn it, I thought I was going to get a pass on the whole boy crazy phase."
