Athena is there on the nymph that attacked Triton in a flash. The nymph is yanked off the Trident like she weighs nothing, and slammed onto the ground with enough force that the vibrations can be felt for several feet around. And then to add the final touch, Athena slams her Aegis done onto the oread, crushing her skull like an overripe grape.
A blood haze of rage takes over, and she finds another oread that has escaped Hades's earth trap. With only her bare hands, Athena rips an arm from the nymphs body. She doesn't even bat an eye when she's sprayed with blood. Instead, she beats the creature with it's own arm.
