Summary: It's time for the two families to meet...

Triton rarely liked to show any sign of nerves. But today, even he was double-checking that everything be perfect. The penthouse was immaculate. All messages on hold. The Trident gleamed, freshly polished, on its stand. He felt like he'd spent half the day in the bathroom, letting the water relax him, but he was clean and pressed, wearing a nice silk button-down and slacks. He wasn't trying to dress as a king today, just a young man hoping that the to-be-blended families would mix well enough.

Dinner was ready--he and Athena had made it themselves. Seafood, but nothing terribly fancy. Triton kept looking at the intercom, waiting for the buzz.

"Everyone's still on time as far as you know, aren't they?" he asked Athena.
