Characters: Hanuman and Anubis
Date/Time: Thursday, August 22, 2013
Location: Hanuman's place to start
Rating: PGish to start
Warnings: some language probably
Summary: Anubis shows up unexpectedly with a surprise
Anubis smirked to himself as he typed 'Knock Knock' and sent the text to Hanuman. He pocketed his cell phone and knocked on Hanuman's door. Anubis should have been in LA, getting ready for the new semester of school to start. This would be very unexpected.

He turned his dark eyes skywards and squinted a bit. A faint wrinkle appeared in his smooth forehead as if he were chasing down a thought. Then he shook his head, sighed, and continued walking. "It's probably the main thing I kinda kept from all those years, both religions. It's the one thing that's kind of comforting. It's got hope to it. More than a lot of other things. Like there's a chance you'll see someone you miss..." He trailed off and there was a strange sort of sadness to his face, a sobriety that sat strangely there.

He listened to Javi, curious abut what he was saying and why he looked subdued for a moment. "Yeah", he agreed after a moment. "With all we've seen lately, I wouldn't count something like that as impossible at all."

As the river came into view, Javi's pace quickened a bit and Mason was forced to double his pace to keep up with the shorter young man. Quiet settled between them for a while, something rare but very comfortable. When they finally reached the water's edge, Javi released his friend and crouched so he could better dangle fingers into the current. "Nice," he commented a bit vaguely.
