Summary: Time for a little Egyptian togetherness! Hopefully the power switch doesn't put a damper on that...

Bastet's apartment felt tighter than usual. Probably because of the extra people. Anubis was staying with her, which she didn't mind, really. He was quiet, polite. Didn't freak out her cats too much. And she'd persuaded Sekhmet to come out and see her.

She'd made a couple calls already: one to Meri and her family to wish her happy birthday, and much of the same to Bes on Alex's behalf. Then she turned her attention to her guests, trying to ignore the weird, dull feeling she'd had all morning.

"You're in my city, kittens. Where can I indulge you first?"

She wasn't feeling herself. That wasn't to say she wasn't feeling fine, because she was. But she was not feeling like her usual self. There was something missing and it was throwing her off trying to figure it all out. Her distraction with trying to figure out what was off couldn't have come at a worse time. Here she was supposed to be enjoying the company of her fellow deities and yet she was spending a good part of tit feeling introspective.

"Partying out on the town sounds good." She spoke suddenly, almost surprised at herself. Maybe a night out would distract her enough from her odd feelings.

Anubis was feeling... good. A cheerful kind of feeling that wasn't quite himself, but he was rolling with it. Maybe it was because of the company he was keeping, or because of being in Vegas. He'd been getting on well with Bastet so far and even the suggestion of partying with the two of them sounded good to him.

"I'm all in."

"Perfect!" Bastet said with a clap of her hands, "Anyone want to see the lions up close? And food is plentiful too, and not too expensive at the buffets. Or, we've got David Copperfield performing this weekend at the Grand, if you're at all into magic. And I know the best interest to get into the clubs."

"Lions? I'd love to see them up close." Whatever distracted feelings she has, her love of the MGM Lions never diminishes. "Clubbing also sounds nice too."

"Lions? That would be cool." Though he usually wasn't one for clubbing, that idea sounded good too. "Maybe a club later on?"
