It was a gorgeous summer night in New York. Aphrodite was 24, and still hot on the market. She was working at the magazine, barely more than she had been as an intern in college, but she was still doing well as a model, and had begun to sketch out her own designs.

But, tonight was about pleasure as much as work. Networking. Being seen. Especially being seen. Aphrodite was dressed to kill in a short red dress that made men's mouths water, and strappy heels to match. Tonight, she would be irresistable. She'd gone out to the dance floor, turning heads with her every motion.

"Most men are pussies," a arrogant smile, Poseidon wasn't afraid of anything, which made him most intriguing.

"Hotel?" he said with the shake of his keys.

"Yes, and too bad for them," she agreed, "You and I are made of stronger stuff."

"Hotel works for me, sweetheart," Aphrodite said, "Assuming you're willing to wait that long."

"I'm learning patience," he steered her out of the club and flagged down a taxi. Once inside he leaned his arm against the back of the seat, her nearly in his lap.

"Looking good these days," though they both had different features and appeals, the sexual attraction was still the same.

"I'll say," Aphrodite agreed, licking her scarlet lips. She skimmed a hand over the length of his thigh.

His hand braced the back of her head, tilting his own to capture this delectable lips.

"Fancy something, darling?"

Oh, that brought back a rush of memories. He even still tasted the same. Aphrodite almost melted into that kiss, her mouth sweet and yielding. She moved her hand higher still on his leg.

"Don't I always?" she murmured against his lips.
