Summary: After a few days to cool, Poseidon makes a visit.


Poseidon had spent the last few days to himself. He'd hardly eaten, slept most of the day and not spoken a word to Chelsea. Mentally since corruption had left his head he'd mentally shut down. Anger like that took a lot of energy these days. He wasn't sailing the seas with a trident anymore, his mortal body still had limits---and this time it as used without his knowing.

He didn't feel the same omniance Chelsea had, he hadn't cared. Once corruption used his anger against him, Poseidon was only focused on what caused his anger. Since it left he'd needed time to collect himself again.

He hadn't meant to strike Medusa in the way he had.

When he knocked on her door tonight it wasn't forceful.

His arm encased her waist, lips pressing further against her neck. He pulled her hair back slowly, taunting her, sliding a hand down her shoulder, over the curves of her chest and pressing her softly against him. He whispered Russian into her ear, his calmness acting like a spell over her now.

She let out with a gentle sigh, relaxing back against him. Before, the Russian would get a much different reaction from her, but right now it was comforting, reassuring.

His breath was but a brush against her ear, his hand curling against her cheek to pull her chin over her shoulder, his lips taking the action he wanted. Just a little taste before she melted back into his arms and he cast another lulling spell over her.

She smiled against the kiss, touching her forehead to his cheek after then settled her head down against him, slowly falling asleep.
