Tara stepped through her workshop door... and smiled as the shift hit.

Morticia sidled across the room in her skintight blackdress, hugging about her hips. "Why hello," she said pleasantly.

Erato smoothed the skirts of her own fallen-angel costume.
"Um... Hi. I... I don't think we've met... I'm Amanda," she said.

Erato blinked.
"Um... So I see," she said. "You don't work here do you?" the Muse wondered.

"Oh. I see." Erato was a bit at a loss for what to say, and she toyed with the fabric of her dress.

"Good evening, ladies," Nigel said from behind the desk. "Ah, Miss Erato. Good to see you again. And you as well, Mrs. Addams."

"Hello, young man. Might I inquire what is going on here?"

"Why, the ball is to begin momentarily," he said. "You'll find the ballroom just straight through there; refreshments are available there as well."

He smiled pleasantly at both of them. "Do enjoy yourselves tonight, ladies-- after all, one never knows when one will get the next chance to."
