All was in readiness. All of his guests were arrived and waiting, some more patiently than others. He anticipated quite a few reactions and a veritable bevy of questions. He was prepared.

He was testing out the slide projector while he waited for his guests to arrive in the ballroom, clicking through pictures of himself made specifically for this test. He paused on one of him before the front desk in a classic, male underwear model post yet still wearing his uniform. "Oh yes. One of my best."

Her breath had caught in her throat. Her discomfort forgotten as something about what this man was telling them rang true off of every instinct she has.

"...Avalon..." She blinked widened eyes, her fingers to her lips as her mind wrapped around the possibilities. There were key figures missing. Figures they would need if they were to in fact find Avalon. Merlin, you old bastard. Him, yes. And...

She turned her head to look towards Gawain.

Gawain caught Nimue's gaze and subtly nodded in acknowledgment. He had remained silent throughout Nigel's speech and even during Poseidon's outburst. Nevertheless, his mind was awash with possibilities, concerns, and fears.

In the past, he could be accused of having acted rashly, as the incident with the Green Knight demonstrated. This time, with so much at stake, he wanted to act only after careful consideration.

He hoped he would get a chance to confer with Nimue afterwards.
