Characters: Achilles, Aphrodite, Apollo, Astarte, Dionysus, Erato, Hades, Lilith, Melpomene, Ogma, Persephone, Poseidon, Seth, Sif, Tyr. Open to All.
Date/Time: Afternoon of Sunday, October 21, 2012
Location: Ballroom of La Maison Jeu Ancien
Rating: TBD
Warnings: TBD. Depends on how it goes and who shows up.
Summary: It's a godling baby shower!
All the preparations had been readied. At one end of the ballroom stretched a long table laden with refreshments: sandwiches, cold cuts, cake, mints, punch--though, naturally, nothing that was generally recommended that pregnant women should avoid.
Seven piles of gifts ringed the room, each one labeled for a different mother-to-be. The piles for Melpomene and Aphrodite were doubly large--for the expected twins, of course. The gifts were not labeled to indicate who had sent them, though. Still, it seemed like each one contained enough things for both mother and baby up until the little ones were ready to march off to school.

Then she looked at the package and, instead of opening, she sits on the floor beside the pile and begins carefully examining each package while moving it as little as possible.
"No mail bomb in this one," she announces to herself before setting the first aside and moving on to the next.

"I can't fault you for being cautious babe, but I don't think they brought us here just to kill us themselves."

"My father has declined the invitation," he told Aphrodite, "So I am in attendance in his stead."

"Oh. Thank you," she said. She smiled just a little. Let it not be said that Triton wasn't a responsible lad.

"Imagine! All of this, just for us!" he gushed, pulling Melpomene in along with him.

"Hey, all right! I'm afraid we've gotten rid of pretty much all of Devin and Harper's baby things," he said, looking over the pile of gifts.
