Characters: Erato, OPEN
Date/Time: Wee hours of the morning, Tuesday, October 30, 2012
Location: Living room of La Maison Jeu Ancien
Rating: TBD
Warnings: TBD. Depends on how it goes and who shows up.
Summary: Maternity hormones make it hard to sleep some nights...
Erato sighed. She didn't know what time it was. In some respects, that was probably a good thing. She knew it was very dark. The house was quiet. Most of the people were asleep, though, she was sure, a few of the godlings prone to night-owlishness would still be prowling around. Erato was bound to be one of them tonight. Her back ached, the baby was kicking, and her hormones were going nuts. She didn't want to wake up Achilles again, though.
Instead, she wandered downstairs. Maybe she could get a cup of hot cocoa from the kitchen and see if there was anything worth watching on the DVR.

"Hey there. Erato, right? Care to join me?" Frigg offered.

"No, ma'am. Not with Alex kicking like he is."

"I remember when I was pregnant with Balder. Goddess or not babies can be hell on your ability to get a good night's sleep."

"He's strong, just like his daddy. Too bad Apollo isn't up. He can usually get the babies to settle down for Mel and me."

"Yes, please."
She swirled her cocoa in her cup.
"So... just up for a late-night snack?"

"Si, can't really sleep so good, having a little something to eat usually helps. I've been thinking about home a lot. Dios, my mother's going to kill me," she says with a fond chuckle.

"Pretty much all the people who would be worried about me are here," she said, "I... haven't really talked to my parents in a while. Not since May. They... they kicked me out when I told them I was pregnant."

"I'm sorry to hear that." She slides a sandwich over to Erato. "Care to join me for some eats and girl-talk?"

"So... if you're Norse... Does that mean you're one of Apollo's friends?"
no subject
"I..what?" She says, trying to regain her composure. Memories of their encounter in the garden fluttered in her head.

"Every year, Apollo would go north for a few months. We always begged him to stay because we missed him so, but he said he had friends up there that he needed to visit. Are you one of his friends?"

"I don't know. I only know what he left behind in Greece." She shook her head. "Poor Koronis."
