Erato sighed. She didn't know what time it was. In some respects, that was probably a good thing. She knew it was very dark. The house was quiet. Most of the people were asleep, though, she was sure, a few of the godlings prone to night-owlishness would still be prowling around. Erato was bound to be one of them tonight. Her back ached, the baby was kicking, and her hormones were going nuts. She didn't want to wake up Achilles again, though.

Instead, she wandered downstairs. Maybe she could get a cup of hot cocoa from the kitchen and see if there was anything worth watching on the DVR.

"I believe you, hon," Frigg assured. A very pleased smile crosses her lips. "He doesn't strike me as the type of man who would. The man knows what he's got."

"Mmm, he certainly does. He truly is beautiful, more than any of our men. It's no wonder he was our father's favorite son. I can't imagine why any woman of the right persuasion wouldn't want him."

"On so many levels," Erato sighed dreamily. "Has he sung to you yet? Or done that one thing where he hums during oral sex?"

"No, but he did say a little prose." Frigg raised an eyebrow with faux-annoyance. "He did not! I feel jipped!"

Erato clapped her hands over her mouth in mock-horror.
"He didn't? Ooh, what a naughty sun god, holding out on you like that! You should absolutely march right up to him and demand the royal treatment right then and there! And he should. Apollo likes things... on display. And who could blame him?"

"I know! I mean I did it for him! Granted I didn't exactly have to be persuaded, but damn right I should!" Frigg had forgotten how much she missed girl-talk.

"So... what did he do?" Erato asked.

"Oh it was awesome. He picked me up, I wrapped my arms and legs around him, and he just took me in mid-air." Frigg has a slightly dreamy look on face. "I never heard of that kind of thing outside of a porno, but damn."

"Oh, well, no wonder. Apollo insists his partners be comfortable, and if he was taking you standing, then he probably didn't think there'd be a comfortable place for you to sit or lie down long enough to pleasure you that way," Erato said.

"Hmm, good point. I guess I can cut him a little slack," Frigg teased.

"You should still totally ask him to. Or challenge him to. You do have to watch his ego. He doesn't like being bossed around or humiliated, but I've never seen him back down from a challenge."

"Good to know, and don't worry, I have a lot of experience dealing with men with big egos," Frigg assured, and smirked a little. "So I take it you've been with him? I don't want you to feel awkward," Frigg considered.

"Of course I have. Apollo would never force us into anything, but we Muses generally don't tell him no. We love Apollo. The whole world deserves to bask in his splendor," the little Muse said with a nod. "If you two make each other happy, by all means, please enjoy him."

"Oh.." Frigg hadn't quite expected that response, but cool. "well, thanks. I admit," she said with a growing blush. "I really didn't want that to be the only time."

Frigg had a smile on her face, like the cat that caught the canary.

"Good to know. What about you, hon? How's the man in your life?"

"I guess he just can't quite keep up with me, but he really does try."
