Winter is putting footsteps in the meadow

She found little amusement in her forced choice of clothing. However, after much diligence she'd discovered something that she felt was passable. Feathers after all were a fraction more reliable than spider webbing.

And with her ill mood she'd taken herself away from the main house and come to the gardens. It was warm and bright and the flowers were in bloom. It did nothing to improve her temperament. In fact, the air in the small, almost secluded corner she'd come to, turned decidedly cooler, and the grass beneath her bare feet began sparkling with frost. She could admit quietly to herself that she reached out to coat a vibrant red rose in crystal clear ice purely out of spite, small as the revenge might be.

He found himself wrapping his arms around her, keeping her close as he continued to kiss her, breathing through his nose.

She gave herself over to it, just kissing him. She felt like she'd waited ages to do this, and well, she basically had. So despite their agreement to spend, at the very least, their remaining evenings doing such things, she kissed him like she couldn't get enough of him.

Well now, he hadn't expected THAT much passion, but he sure as hell wasn't going to complain about it. He held her closer, one hand caressing her hair while another rubbed her back.

The cool and controlled types were often rather passionate underneath, and Mab was not an exception. She denied herself many things, but when she decided to indulge she never did it half way. And the touch on her hair made her purr softly in her throat.

And he keeps caressing her hair, threading his fingers through it. SO caught up in what he was doing he ended up slipping onto his back. He ends up parting from her lips for a moment.

"Heh..sorry about that."

When he slipped to his back, she ended up half atop him, her hands braced on the ground on either side of him. The snow and frost had long ago began to melt away, as her mood had greatly improved. And she was actually, truly smiling down at him.

"I don't see the problem."

That causes him to smirk up at her. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised you like to be on top," he joked.

"No, you really shouldn't be." She grinned, leaning down and brushing her lips across his. "Though I might be persuaded to trade positions with you, every now and again."

He does his best to bring his lips to hers as they brush by, but only catches them by a bit.

"I have no trouble with a woman in charge, but I can assure you if given th opportunity, I wouldn't disappoint you."

She tauntingly kept her lips just out of his reach when he tries for them, enjoying the little game.

"Oh I expect only excellence from you, my king," she murmured softly. "I haven't held out this long to be let down."

Held out? Whoa... He didn't say anything, not wanting to spoil the moment, but the fact she hadn't had sex in so long..oh he was going to have to bring his A-game for this. No way he was making her first time in awhile half-assed. His hands move to her waist.

"Tell me what you want, Mab."

She was talking an awful lot today. She wasn't usually so forthright with anything of herself. Perhaps it was the mood making her share so much.

"Not to put too fine a point on it, but the answer is you." And then her lips descended onto his once again.

Bres didn't respond verbally to that. When Mab kisses him again, he responds with the most passionate kissing yet. His arms move around her, keeping her close.

She relaxed her arms, letting her chest be pressed against his. Her hair fell around them, making a curtain of black silk and feathers around them as they kissed.

One hand entangles its self in Mab's her while the other moves up and down, caressing her entire back. Bres determinedly breathed through his nose, not wanting to stop kissing her.

She had no desire to stop either, which is why she did part their lips briefly to tease him. "Come up for air, my king. I would hate for you to faint on me." Though she sounded fairly breathless herself.

Bres chuckled at that. "You seem rather breathless yourself, my lady."

"Shall I stroke your ego and say some line about you taking my breath away?" She asked with a playful smirk.

He moves to ease a strand of hair that fallen i front of her face. "You could, but I can honestly say the same about you."

"Do you think I need such flattery? I am already in your arms, you know."

"No," he replied seriously. "I'm just thinking out loud."

"I see." She combed her fingers through his hair in a fashion that could have easily been affectionate. "What else are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking I want to make love to you," he answered frankly.

"As you wish," she replied with a soft, inviting smile.

"Let me get rid of this damn armor," Bres said, starting to undo the straps.
