Summary: The Norse gods appeal to Apollo to join his Fire to their Earth and Air in an effort to find their way back home.

It didn't take much to find the Sun God. He was difficult to miss, full of flash. Sif had no idea how he would respond to them, though.

"There he is, Tyr. May as well take care of this as quickly as we can," she said. With the maimed god at her side, she approached Apollo.

"...Excuse me, Apollo... yes? Might we have a word with you?"

"Yes?" Apollo said, turning as he heard his name. He smiled brightly at the two who approached.

"Well! What have we here? You're Norse, aren't you? Excellent. I have good friends among the northmen. Now... What can I do for you?" he asked, taking Sif's hand and sweeping an elegant kiss over it, "Especially for such a... beautiful woman?"

Calm down, Kevin. Be professional. Ignore the fact that he's a good looking with two functional arms!

He'd defend Sif's honor if need be, but he also knew Sif could handle herself and he would not insult her by doing otherwise. Still, the smarmy bastard was laying it on thick.

"Yes, we are of the Norse pantheon. We're here to ask if you'd be willing to help us solve the mystery of leaving this place." Stay on the business at hand, be professional.

Sif blushed a little. He was charming, she had to give him that much credit.
"Yes, exactly. As Nigel said, the key lies in the four elements. Tyr and I represent two... Air and Earth. But that's only half the puzzle."

Apollo chuckled.
"And, let me guess, you want me for Fire, is that it?"

He grinned. "Sure, why not! Sadly, though, I can't conjure any actual fire. I do hope that won't be a problem. The best I can do on that front is lighting the fires in someone's soul and heart."

He seemed decent enough, Tyr would give him a chance.

"We think's more of a spiritual metaphor kinda thing. Like the element's tied to our natures rather than actual powers. My element may be Air, but I have no actual air powers." He looks at Sif. "What of you, Lady? Do you have any powers related to Earth or is it based on your spirit as well?"

Sif considered.
"Well... I can garden decently well. Power-wise, though... I don't know. I'm a fertility goddess, and I always seem to have enough of anything I need while cooking, nor have I wanted for money... I'm not sure that female intuition falls anywhere near that, though," she said.

"A fertility goddess, you say?" Apollo repeated, "Lovely, wealthy, and an excellent cook besides, judging from those magnificent cookies..."

He grinned at Tyr. "You, sir, are a lucky, lucky man. I'm jealous."

Kevin's eyes bulged a bit and he just knew his face was turning red. He quickly tried to suppress it before it was noticeable. "The..Lady Sif and I are not together. She is a dear friend." he tries very hard not to allow any sadness to creep into his tone at that last statement.

Sif blushed.
"He's right, we aren't a couple. Back in the day, he was my brother-in-law," she explained. "We're close, yes, but..." She trailed off and delicately cleared her throat.

"Anyway, that's beside the point. We're glad to have your help, Apollo. It just leaves one element, Water, and the All-Father was going to speak with your Poseidon about that."

"You're not? Huh. And there I thought Air gods and Earth goddesses were supposed to make good pairs. More's the pity--for you, anyway. But, I can't say I'm terribly disappointed from my end." Apollo winked.

"And Poseidon? Really? Sure, he's the obvious choice, but if elemental talents aren't actually required, trust me, there are far easier options than trying to coax a favor out of my salty old uncle. I'm sure my boy is watery enough to get the job done, and he's of a much better temperament."

Tyr briefly contemplated the image of pulling a gun on the flirtatious godling, but dismissed it, ashamed of his jealously.

"Your boy? You mean Asclepius, the healer?"

"The very same," Apollo said. "He's a good man. Smart. I'm not sure where he ran off to, though, but he's around here somewhere."

"If it would work and be easier..." Sif considered.

"What do you think, Tyr? Do we wait for the All-Father, or should we find the healer?"

Tyr thought about it.

"If the All-Father makes some manner of bargain with Poseidon before we reach Asclepius then it could cause problems," Keven stated. "Perhaps we should find Odin first. We do not want to disrupt any plans he has for us to return home."

Sif nodded.
"Probably a good idea. We wouldn't want to slight Poseidon if he's made some sort of agreement with Odin."

She turned back to Apollo. "Your offer is very kind, Apollo, thank you, but we think it would be best if we conferred with Odin before we ask for your son's assistance."
