Location: A room in L'Hotel de Jeu Ancien
Rating: R
Warnings: Goliath will curse..a lot.
Summary: JC and Celtic strongmen must join forces.

Date: 2013-05-08 06:35 pm (UTC)"Easy, big guy. Name's Alan Cleary. Ogma of the Celts. I'm a high school English teacher in Kansas City. Father of three with another little girl on the way. I haven't seen any firearms. I certainly haven't taken one. And I have no idea where we are, what's going on, or why we've apparently been chained together."
He glanced around.
"Personally, I'm just hoping my kids and girlfriend are okay."

He looked around the room.
"Shoot. I don't see a key either. Guess there's more to the puzzle than I initially thought."

Date: 2013-05-16 09:13 pm (UTC)"But, all right, let's think on this. Gaia wants us working together, which, fine, I can understand that. A shame the current method is so crude, though. I consider your pantheon friends--at least, I've gotten along very well with Esther and Lilith. Supposedly, Gaia's encouraging us to reproduce as well, and I suppose with Lilith already being pregnant, it wouldn't additionally further that goal if I'm with her. Still, it doesn't make sense that you and I would be put together if that was the intent here. Not that it isn't nice to get to know the rest of the Judeo-Christian group."

Date: 2013-05-29 03:24 pm (UTC)"As fun as it can be, I rarely blow stuff up for the sake of blowing it up. Usually whatever purpose my current employer pays me to work towards. Still, I keep things confined to people who know the kind of shit they're getting into. Pay's good, I get to travel, and work out my aggression issues with excessive force."

Date: 2013-05-30 06:32 pm (UTC)"And.. it's actually rather difficult to flunk poetry, depending on how it's being taught. And, no, it's not all boring. Epics like the Iliad or Beowulf are filled with violence, sex and gore. Even a poem I read for Lilith once, "Goblin Market," has themes of rape, kidnapping, incest, lesbianism and murder. And Shakespeare loved a dirty joke as much as anyone."
