Summary: For the second time, Kali's been surprised with a strange woman in her bed...

Kali yawned and stretched as she began to wake up. she was a little surprised her dog wasn't barking at her.

Until she realized she wasn't at home. And there was a strange blonde in her bed. Chained to her by the wrist.

"What the fuck?" Kali groaned to herself, and nudged the other woman. "Hey, Blondie. Any idea what the fuck just happened here?"

And this was ...definitely not anyone she'd previously shared a bed with. "Hi, um, No. Pretty sure I went to bed with my husband."

"Well, shit. Y'all look way too breakable for me," Kali mused, running fingers through her hair.

She looked dubiously at the chain.
"Wonder if I can break it..." Kali tried. She tried valiantly. But the chain wouldn't break. "Well, fuck. Y'all see a key or some shit to get us loose?"

"Heh. Yes. You're gorgeous, but probably so and all." Seph looked around. "Well, it's certainly a very nice place otherwise, but no, I'm not seeing a key.

"Fuck," Kali swore.

"So now what?"

"Maybe something's hidden in all the fancy stuff?"

Kali shrugged.
"Might as well look," she said, hauling herself out of bed.

It was a bit unwieldly, trying to keep pace with each other as they got up and navigated. Okay, very unwieldly. But they were going to manage somehow. Seph sighed a little as she tried to pick things up in the heavily-furnished room and look under and around them without the chains digging into her arms as they went taut.

"You finding anything? 'Cause I ain't finding shit," Kali sighed after checking every surface she could reach.

"Not yet. So... um...weather through the last bit of craziness okay? Did you ever sort out stuff with your job?"

Kali sighed.
"Still fucking sidelined. Last bastards I got to kick the shit out of were a bunch of demons guarding eggs."

"Well, I'm glad you did of course, but that's really too bad. There can't be anything actually in the official rules against divine background. It's not like you're taking some kind of goddess pills."

"I dunno. Maybe I'll have to go teach dance or some shit if they won't let me fight anymore," Kali sighed.

"Well, that's hardly a nightmare scenario -- I bet you'd be good at it, and your experience could attract a different class of student, interested in getting an...especially interesting experience with working out and artistry. But I still hope you'll get to do what you want to. As we get through all this nonsense, there's gotta be an anti-discrimination injunction you could get or something."
