Characters: Sita, Hanuman, Anubis
Date / Time: October 31st, evening
Location: Berkely
Rating: tbd
Warnings: tbd
Summary: The god's true personalities come to the forefront on Halloween.
Anubis was in an odd mood. It had started earlier in the afternoon while on the phone with his mother. For years, for as long as he could remember, he'd always been trying to be who his family wanted him to be rather than who he was. He didn't know why, but this particular conversation with his mother was bothering him much more han ever. Finally, he decided he'd had it and began to tell her how he really felt, and who he really was. It wasn't at all how he'd imagined telling her that he was a reincarnated Egyptian god. And the news went over as well as one would expect. Mason got off the phone feeling very angry and agitated.
When his roommate asked him why he seemed so on edge, Anubis told him exactly why. He took the news better than Mason's mom, but he did seem to think that he was teasing him. This was when he decided it might be a good idea to take Hanuman up on his offer to go out to Berkeley for the night for some of their parties. Travel wasn't an issue for Anubis anymore, so he decided he would. He dressed in the Egyptian costume he'd gotten for himself, and headed for the graveyard. He lingered in there for a while, feeling himself calm down, before travelling to Berkeley in his own way. Once there, he texted Hanuman for directions and let him know he'd be right there.

For his part, Hanuman barely registered the unusual reaction; he was too busy typing directions. He stood just outside Sita's building, waiting for her to finish her costume and appear. For his part, he had gone simple... Though one would be hard-pressed to remember Indiana Jones ever wearing his shirt with that many buttons undone.

At the last minute she threw on some glittery earrings and smiled at her reflection in the mirror. This was going to be fun. She was excited to get out for a change.
"Sorry I'm late!" she called out, coming down the steps. "Costume issues. I don't know, what do you think of it?" She looked down and tugged at her black t-shirt.
