Summary: Ariadne comes to Lincoln for a weekend visit.

After a long flight, the plane finally touched down in the city. The view below hadn't been much to look at once they had gotten over the mountains, but the city itself seemed bustling enough from what she could tell.

Walking into the airport, Ariadne looked for Gawain among the people milling there, both on the upper levels and looking over to the balcony.

"All right, then," she said, sliding into the car.

"So, tell me about where we're going."

He pulled out of the parking space and headed toward the downtown area. "There is a collection of small art galleries on the second floor above some businesses. It is rather like a giant 'L' on the northeast corner of the intersection."

"Oh, I see," she said, "Now... is the art just for looking at, or can it be bought and such too?"

"A lot of the art is for sale," he replied. "The artists use the event as an open house to get their work and their galleries noticed. There are also a few boutiques, a hair salon, and a spa treatment place upstairs that open to the public during First Fridays."
