Three hours she'd flown. L.A. had been interesting for most of the morning, but she had been restless. So she'd flown east, guided by an instinct she hadn't had in ages.

When she arrived at her destination, she snuck up to a lower level window and peeked inside. She didn't want to be seen yet. Panic was not something she was interested in causing here.

She nodded slowly. "Mmmm-hm."

Tweak says, "I have a proposition for you." HE KNOWS.

Ogma let out a long breath.
"Okay. I think I see where you're trying to go with this. But, why me?"

He always knows!

Another step forward, and a slow smile. "I like you."

Ogma took a step back, trying to maintain a distance between them.
"Listen... Ebony. Lilith. You're... a very nice girl, I'm sure. And bright. And lovely. All that, yes. But, we hardly even know each other. Besides, you're a young, vibrant woman. What would you want with an old fogey like me?"

She took another step, the smile saying she was enjoying this. She didn't mind chasing what she wanted. "Age is irrelevant, Ogma. And I think you can guess what I want." She laughed softly.

"Well, that depends on who you talk to. I have former students older than you are. I've got a family. My son is closer in age to you than I am," he pointed out.

"Look, you wouldn't be the first young woman to get a crush on old Mr. C. But that's all it is. A crush. Give it some time, and I'm sure you'll find someone else more interesting than me. I don't want you to do something you'll regret later, all right?" he said kindly.

Tweak says, "Relax"

"It's a poor argument, love." She was still moving forward. "I'm not here as a human for a human, so your logic doesn't really apply." But she found it adorable that he'd try.

"And I truly doubt any of your students could match me." Not jealousy there. Only confidence born of experience.

"Maybe not," he conceded, "But what, exactly, is it you want? I'm not the kind of man who just has a fling with a woman, and then never calls her again. Nor am I into women who do similar things. I was brought up to respect women and to cherish their gifts, not take them lightly."

She chuckled. "Are you afraid I won't call you after?" She was teasing, yes, but she had long since gleaned that about him. Her expression sobered. She needed him to understand. "There are many gods that would welcome me with those exact expectations, Ogma. There is a reason I do not want them."

It wasn't a promise of fidelity by any stretch, but the statement had its implications.

"I'm more worried about how you expect this to go forward. We live over a thousand miles from each other, and my salary doesn't really let me afford a whole lot of travel," he said, "Plus, I have my kids to consider. Would you be ready for that kind of responsibility?"

She tilted her head to the side as she listened to what he said. He was leaping forward, trying to frighten her with expectations of the future. But he hadn't once said the word 'no'.

"You're asking me all of these qualifiers, love. If I do check all the right boxes, then what?"

"You tell me," he countered.

"Oh, I'm more of a show kind of girl." She moved into him. Her hand came up to rest on his chest, then slide up over collar bone, the back of his neck, then trailed fingertips lightly down along his jaw, coaxing him to tilt his head down to her. She was up on tip toe, looking at him with sleepy sexy bedroom eyes. "All you have to do, is get out of your own way." She wet her lips; an invitation.

He placed his hands on her shoulders, gently pushing her back slightly.
"You're a nice girl. I don't want to see you making a mistake," he told her, even though, admittedly, she was drawing up an arousal he hadn't felt in years.

She was on her toes, so when he tried to ease her back, she simply didn't adjust her balance. It was a rather passive-aggressive way to counter his gentle reject. She knew he would feel the shift of weight and know that if he let go, she would fall. And she knew he was too much of a gentleman to let her fall on her ass. But just in case, she placed her hands on his forearms. She also took the opportunity to arch her back and showcase her breasts, just barely hidden by threadbare fabric.

"I appreciate the chivalry, love. But you don't have to worry about me. I know what I'm doing."

Ogma sighed.
"This is not how I normally go about things," he said, "If I let this happen... I don't want either of us to regret it."

She smiled, sunny and sweet at that. Her hands snaked up around his neck and she pushed her body against him. "Oh I can promise that you won't."

Then she kissed him, a soft slow brush of her lips against his.

...well, let it not be said that he didn't try to resist her charms. He didn't mean for it to happen, it just... was. Still the next thing he knew, he was kissing her back, his strong arms wrapping around her slender form.

His effort had been valiant indeed. And appreciated in fact. She had much preferred that he'd made her work for it. If he'd fallen into her arms, well she might have actually been disappointed.

But this was far from disappointing.

She debated taking it slow to avoid possibly intimidating him. But then, they both knew why she'd come, as she'd made no bones about it. So she figured to hell with taking it easy. She broke their kiss for a moment so she could brace on his shoulders and pull herself up slightly, so she could wrap her legs around his hips.

Now with his hips snugly between her thighs, and her face now at his level, she smiled with satisfaction. "Better." And then she was kissing him again, this time a little more demanding.

He was plenty strong enough to hold her, but it was a slightly awkward position, so he soon found himself moving to deposit her very carefully on the bed.
"You're sure you want this?" he asked softly.

She gave him a look, and then without a word she peeled off the flimsy covering that dared to call itself a top and cast it carelessly away. She gave him a moment to take in the meaning of what she'd done. "Does this answer your question?" And then slowly she slide her hands over her breasts and down abs to her hips. Her thumbs hooked under the thin bands that held the last little nod to modesty on her body. "Or would you like me to be clearer?"

"...I suppose I'll take that as a 'yes'," he said, his long fingers reaching out to gently stroke the cleft between her legs.

"Mmm, yesss." She arched her hips slightly, eyes fluttering shut for just a brief moment of enjoyment. Then she was pulling off his tunic. "I want to see you."

No one could ever accuse Lilith of not knowing what she wanted.

Ogma smiled a little sheepishly, but soon pulled off the Celtic clothing, revealing his godhood in its natural glory.
"Better?" he asked with a grin.

She'd thank God but she didn't particularly like him, and imagined He felt the same way, so this wasn't his work. So she merely called herself one lucky girl.

Her eyes drank him in greedily, utterly unabashed. She traced the muscles of his chest down to his abs with her fingertips reverently. Then her eyes met his again and she smiled. "Much."
