Characters: Lilith and Ogma
Date/Time: March 20th, early evening
Location: Ogma's home
Rating: R if Lilith has anything to say about it
Warnings: Lilith
Summary: The Demoness makes an unexpected visit.
Three hours she'd flown. L.A. had been interesting for most of the morning, but she had been restless. So she'd flown east, guided by an instinct she hadn't had in ages.
When she arrived at her destination, she snuck up to a lower level window and peeked inside. She didn't want to be seen yet. Panic was not something she was interested in causing here.

Date: 2012-03-20 10:56 am (UTC)Explaining it to his children had been the most difficult part. But, he had pulled out the mythology books, and explained his past and his role. He showed them the twelve trees he'd planted in the back yard, and the oghams he'd created with them. He spent a lot of the day just answering questions and telling stories. Yes, the kids were understandably weirded out, but by the time dinner was over, they seemed to at least accept the idea.
He even showed off some feats of strength there in the yard after they ate. But as they were headed back in, he thought he caught a flicker of motion.
"You kids go on inside. There's something I want to check on," he said, and began to look for what he thought he saw.

Date: 2012-03-20 11:35 am (UTC)After a while, the kids slipped off to their respective rooms to amuse themselves, while Ogma settled down in the living room with a good book written in Gaelic. It was second-nature reading it like this, a simple joy, but a sweet one.

Date: 2012-03-20 11:46 am (UTC)She could tell it was his space. It had the air of unattached man to it. She quietly acquainted herself with his space, listening and waiting.

Date: 2012-03-20 12:04 pm (UTC)But she had only a moment to admire him privately. She'd had no illusions that he would not be able to sense her. In fact, she was hoping he would be more sensitive to her unique presence now as a proper god. But she said nothing in answer to him, wanting him to turn on the light.
When he did, he would see a face he would recognize as hers. But her form somewhat altered from a normal human. She had wings not unlike what one might picture a dragon to have, though they were tucked tightly to her back at the moment, only barely peeking up over her shoulders. Her eyes were so pale they were nearly white. And she wore what appeared to be scant rags that barely covered, and left nearly nothing to one's imagination. What need had a demon such as she for proper clothes? They just got in the way.
"Hello, Ogma." She spoke softly, her voice a throaty purr.

Date: 2012-03-20 06:49 pm (UTC)He blinked for a moment or two, not so much because of the sudden transition from darkness to light, but rather the unexpected presence of a woman in his bedroom. There hadn't been one there in nearly seven years, so evidenced by the masculinity of the furnishings, though here and there were a few touches that still reminded him of Carmen--including their wedding portrait still hanging on the wall. But it wasn't Carmen he was concerned with now, but the one who was there now.
"Ebony? Is that you?" he asked, peering at her, "What on earth are you doing here?" He noticed the open window. "And why did you break in through the window? The front door works just fine, I promise."

Date: 2012-03-20 11:35 pm (UTC)She moved, seemingly wandering around the perimeter of his room, as she casually stalked him. She trailed her fingertips along his things "I didn't want to disturb your children. I tend to have a certain...affect on young men." On the stressed word she turned her head toward him, drawing her lower lip between her teeth and slowly releasing it on the "f".

"But you still didn't answer the question. Why are you here?"

Date: 2012-03-21 12:47 am (UTC)She had brought herself within arms reach of him, but her hands stayed at her sides. Instead, she touched him with her gaze. One long slow, assessing, appreciating look that took him in from the bottom up. Her eyes didn't quite make it all the way up to his though, they settle on his mouth, and a hungry look passed over her face. She licked her lips.
Tweak says, "Baby, let's play house."
Date: 2012-03-21 12:52 am (UTC)"Hold on. Let me get this straight... You came all the way from California... just to see me?"
omg f*ing yes!
Date: 2012-03-21 12:56 am (UTC)Tweak says, "I have a proposition for you." HE KNOWS.
Date: 2012-03-21 01:01 am (UTC)"Okay. I think I see where you're trying to go with this. But, why me?"
He always knows!

Date: 2012-03-21 01:08 am (UTC)"Listen... Ebony. Lilith. You're... a very nice girl, I'm sure. And bright. And lovely. All that, yes. But, we hardly even know each other. Besides, you're a young, vibrant woman. What would you want with an old fogey like me?"

Date: 2012-03-21 01:27 am (UTC)"Look, you wouldn't be the first young woman to get a crush on old Mr. C. But that's all it is. A crush. Give it some time, and I'm sure you'll find someone else more interesting than me. I don't want you to do something you'll regret later, all right?" he said kindly.
Tweak says, "Relax"
Date: 2012-03-21 01:37 am (UTC)"And I truly doubt any of your students could match me." Not jealousy there. Only confidence born of experience.
