Summary: The bridal party visits Aphrodite to get their fittings and dresses... and then it's off to unravel some clues.

Admittedly, Sif was a little nervous about heading to New York. She'd never really spoken to Aphrodite. Hopefully, she could be trusted. Odin had, so Sif supposed she had no reason not to.

She smiled at the other Norse with her. It was so good to be together with everyone again. She hoped the trip would be a pleasant one.

"I prefer to think it makes life interesting," she chuckled. "Besides, at her heart we're the same."

"Well, we were conquerors once upon a time," Sif reminded them, "But, right now, we have a Greek who's expecting us. Something tells me she's not the sort that likes to be kept waiting."

"Well, let's not advertise that too much, we're under enough suspicion as is," Frigg cautioned. She sighs. "I can't say I'm looking forward to this."

"Yes, my lady," Sif said.

"...just in general, or because of her relationship with Odin?"

She's quiet for a time. "It's funny, I didn't even know him in this life that well. Heck, we never even..you know," Frigg said, indicating sex. "but..yeah."

"She's... quite the imposing legend," Sif agreed. "But, we'll all be there together."

Frigg looks at Sif as if she'd grown a second head. "Imposing? I don't give a rat's culo how big her legend is. When Odin couldn't I was ruler of our people and I didn't put up with crap from no one. She does not intimidate me. "She took a calming breath. "I just have to make nice with the woman who was not too long ago was screwing my husband." She looks apologetic. "Sorry Sif, I didn't mean to snap like that."

Sif smiled graciously.
"It's all right, my lady. But that is sort of where her legend lies," she said with a shrug, "But she is doing this out of a favor Odin asked of her."

"True," she takes a deep breath. "Don't worry, Sif, I'll mind my manners."

"I have no doubt you will," Sif agreed.

Upon their arrival in New York, Sif looked back at Frigg.
"Ready to do this, my lady?"

"She does know to expect us now, doesn't she?" Sif asked as they headed toward the sleek building that housed Mode Moderne.

"Yeah, we talked on the phone. Everything's set up," Frigg said, seeking comfort from reverting to business.

"Good." Sif looked up the length of the skyscraper. "...here goes nothing, huh?" she asked.
