Not everyone had come to lunch. That wasn't terribly surprising. Even in this house, it seemed almost no one was on the same schedule. Still, by now, most of them at least generally knew when Sif served lunch--at the very least, the smell of her cooking was a good tip-off. Still, afterward, Aphrodite waited in the formal dining room, hoping that a full strategy could be agreed upon.

Melpomene could care less about this little meeting. She came because she knew Apollo would make her come if she tried to bail. It wasn't another stupid baby shower so why bother fighting about it? She sat and promptly folded her arms on the table, slouching and looking immediately bored.

Erato flanked Apollo on his other side, opposite Melpomene. She felt a little nervous, and just hoped having everyone in the same room wouldn't mean trouble in and of itself.
